Morden Hall is exclusively yours for the day! The house and picturesque grounds are yours to enjoy from morning until late into the evening. With the privacy and seclusion that Morden Hall brings, we want you and your guests to feel it is a home away from home to enjoy your special day. We have created this helpful wedding day timeline to show how your day with us can be, so you’ll never feel rushed or overwhelmed during your celebrations.

Your Day

10am Your wedding day begins

The stunning Cherry Suite is the perfect place to start your day, cherishing those precious pre-ceremony moments. It can be used as a dressing room for you and your bridal party, complete with relaxation area and opulent bathroom to prepare for that ‘I do’ moment.

We also have the stylish Sycamore room for your partner to get ready. A space for them to gather their thoughts, run through their speech or enjoy a drink or two with their wedding party.

2pm Time for your ‘I do’ moment

We have a variety of options for where your ceremony can take place. Whether it’s the light-filled Willow Suite at the very heart of Morden Hall, seating up to 120 for a civil ceremony, or a more relaxed set up on our lawns, you’ll be spoilt for choice finding your ideal ceremony spot. For numbers over 120, we also have our large Mulberry Suite full of natural daylight and high beams.

2:30pm Time to celebrate

After your ceremony, the celebrations begin! Drinks receptions can be held in our private gardens and lawns, overlooking the beautiful National Trust parkland, as well as inside our reception rooms.

3pm Capture your memories

There are many wonderful opportunities to capture precious moments here at Morden Hall, use this time to reflect on your ceremony and first moments as a married couple. Take a private walk around the grounds with your photographer and arrange all your friends and family together for beautiful group shots that you’ll treasure for a lifetime.

4-4:30pm Time to take your seats

There is a 30 minute window to seat your wedding guests, although this time is flexible due to party size and how you choose to welcome your guests to your wedding breakfast.

4:30pm Wedding breakfast is served

Expert chefs will serve your perfectly tailored menu to you and your guests. We recommend allowing two hours for this part of your day so you can truly savour each delicious dish.

6:30pm Speeches

After enjoying an unforgettable feast, this is the perfect time to sit back and enjoy the speeches. The Mulberry Suite provides a stunning location to share sentimental stories and kind words with your loved ones.

7pm-7:30pm Take to the dance floor

To mark the start of your evening reception, this is a great time to cut your wedding cake before taking to the dance floor for your first dance.

9pm Extravagant evening food

Your catering team is ready to delight you and your loved ones once again with your choice of spectacular evening food. Wood-fired pizzas, mouth-watering cheese tables and delicious street food items all make fantastic choices!

12am The day draws to a close

As the music finishes and the festivities wind down, it’s time for you and your guests to make your way home/ to your chosen accommodation, with some truly unforgettable memories.
